Doll Can Create

As I create and post more videos and social media uploads I decided that a new blog would be the next step. This blog will document my works in progress (WIPS), finished objects (FO), as well as my spinning, spindling, and various fibre activities.

I committed to 2024 as being the #yearofsocks and am currently working on socks number 5 of 12. So, 1 pair each month. I enjoy making socks for myself, friends, and family. Mostly with commercial sock yarns but from time to time I use my handspun. The picture above are from 2023. The cream coloured ones where knit with handspun.

Each week I’m uploading a video called “Rocking Chair Knit and Chat”. Most often less than 20 minutes of chit chat and sharing what’s on the needles that week.

The completed socks where knit in April along with dying some sock yarn (80/20) with food colouring. What do you think? Either skein is for sale. Leave me a message and I’ll get right back to you.
